Rumors: Champion Reworks

So one of the big projects within Riot right now is updating all of the older champions and getting them up to speed with the new releases. If you guys haven't noticed already, all of the new champions and reworks have much better animations. 

Here is a list of the rumored upcoming champion reworks. 

I am excited to see Heimerdinger and Sivir get their reworks. What about you?

New Jungle to Buff Rammus

Remember when Rammus used to be banned? I am very interested to get more information on these new changes to the jungle.

Rumor: Riot Will Make Rank 5s More Rewarding

Exactly what we are preparing for. Apparently Scarra has confirmed it on his stream that Riot will be adding additional rewards/perks to Rank 5s. 

Lets see what unfolds in the upcoming season. 

Tristana's Explosive Shot Scaling with Passive on PBE

I think this is a pretty huge change to Tristana's usability. Currently explosive shot's range is like 625 with a cast delay. Trying to use her E puts you in range to take 1-2 auto attacks making it not even worth it. 

Compare the ability side by side with other AD Carries it is extremely outclassed.

Graves - Buckshot - 750 range

Ezreal - Mystic shot - 1100 range / Essence Flux - 900 range

Putting yourself in range to use it also could mean taking a buckshot in the face by Graves. 

I played Tristana from lvl 5-30 almost exclusively so its nice to see a change heading her way. I'm excited to see what other changes are under way for not only her but the other ADs as well. 

Scrim versus Aces Over Kings

Our first scrim is scheduled for Thursday October 25, 2012 versus Aces Over Kings 9pm Central Time (7pm Pacific)

Schedules

I have been working on the schedules today. I have updated all the players schedule so far. Don't worry they will not be visible to the public. You guys should see it though. Man it is all over the place. I am so thankful for technology.

I am thinking about making the scrims on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Please check the schedule periodically to see changes.

I would also like to know if anyone is able to stream as well. It would be nice to have more exposure for the team.

Overall I am very excited to see these skins released. All the new skins are so well made now. No more Ezreal skins where it just looks like he went to Gap and bought a new jacket to wear.

IvyLoL - School vs School

Twisted Treeline Remake

I find it refreshing and wonderful that the Twisted Treeline 3v3 map is being remade. I started out my career playing this map exclusively. (I used to think Summoners Rift was too big haha!)

First lets discuss some of the base changes.
1. The wall around the fountain. 
- I really like this addition. Playing 3v3 was so annoying with the fact that people could just drag the super minions to the laser to not have to save time killing them. Also I could never understand why the laser's effect area was so large. Seriously it reached out towards the 2nd set of steps.
2. The placement of the inhibitors.
- There really isnt much I can say about this. I mean I guess it makes the whole base flow a bit better but I don't have much of an opinion really on it.
3. The enlargement of the wall next to the nexus.
- This change is huge. One of the most annoying ways to lose in Twisted Treeline was if someone flashed or gap closed over the wall and killed your nexus. Imagine if that was available on summoners rift. How annoyed would you be there?

Next lets discuss the changes to the map.
1. The neutral camps are now in the middle.
- Putting the neutral camps in the middle as well as changing them makes it so there is a possibility for a jungler. In the older TT you could only farm the creeps in the top lane. With putting the camps in the middle it allows room for more team play. As we learn to play on the new TT, I am pretty sure new strategies will be developed on how to deny the neutral camps from the other team. I predict there will be team fights a lot more often now with the routes changed. No longer will just 1 ward in the middle prevent a gank, changing the whole dynamic of the game.
2. There are buff shrines instead of monsters.
- I thought this was a pretty cool addition to the map. It is sort of like capture the flag or king of the hill. With having to stand on shrine for 90 seconds before a buff is given it forces teams to fight for the advantage. I would assume that +4 per kill would mean minion and neutral monster kills too and that is a huge advantage considering the game is usually defined by which team has more gold.
3. Dragon replaced by a giant spider.
- Spider? hmm I really don't like spiders very much but give me a chance to kill them? I'm down.

With the game being so fast pace, its nice to see it slowed down.

It seems like Riot always finds new ways to visually update the game even if its just a little bit. 

Here are the list of the wards that are going to be available for purchase. 

Dreadful Ward - 200 IP

Haunting Ward – 800 IP

Tomb Angel Ward – 25 RP

Widow Ward – 75 RP

Bat-O-Lantern Ward – 165 RP

I wonder how long the purchase lasts for. Riot says you can buy up to 52 weeks of wards. So maybe a week per purchase?

A lot of players have been asking Riot to add new summoner icons. It's kinda crazy how much money we throw at this game. $100 for a summoner icon? Geez

Influence Others

      If your dream is big and will require the teamwork of a group of people, then any potential leaders you select to go with you on your journey will need to be people of influence.      To be a good judge of potential leaders, don't just see the person - see all the people that person influences. The greater the influence, the greater the leadership potential and the ability to get others to work with you to accomplish your dream.

Personal Development

One thing I have learned over the years is personal development is just as important as talent and skills needed to accomplish any task, goal, or dream.

Scrim/ Rank 5s/ Practice Schedules

Once I have received schedules (work/school/life) from the team members I will create practice schedules for us.

I  am currently looking for teams for us to scrim against. I also want us to make rank 5s a normal thing as well. We don't know if the professional teams will be picking up rank 5s in NA but it would be nice to have a leg up on other teams if we can get in early.

A suggestion for the team members please log on to your gmail and create calendars of your current schedule.

Possible Season 3 Changes and Updates

Hey guys so the team at Riot has been hinting a lot on the forums about the upcoming changes for the new season.

The changes include:
- Jungle camps
- item changes (new viable items for supports)
- champion remakes
- ladder and achievement changes and additions
- mastery changes

The change I am most excited about are the changes to the jungle of course.
- Apparently they are going to be "buffing" single target junglers.
- Im pretty bored of the current list of strong junglers.

So I am considering opening up a chat server for us so we can stop using Skype.

I know currently skype lags some users so maybe our own teamspeak, vent, or mumble server would be better? Let me know.

This is the difference between the 3. The closer together the echo the better the service.
